Welcome to Peter's Web site!

Peter Hipson is a leading author in the micro-computer field, with books published for programmers and users. Some of Peter's latest books include books on Windows NT, The Windows NT Registry,  Microsoft BackOffice, and database programming.

Peter works in a large cave in Jaffrey New Hampshire, on the slopes of Mt. Monadnock, America's most climbed mountain! In the cave (called Colossal Cave, of course) are found large amounts of computer equipment, a mechanical and wood workshop, a really good science fiction book collection (floor to ceiling bookcases, about 35 feet of 'em, house Peter's library), and other cool stuff. Peter also plays with satellite television systems (including direct access to broadcasts from all over the world!) and other high-tech toys and tools.

(note: DarkStar, a Pentium with 64-MB of RAM, running Windows NT 4 Server, IIS (and lot's of other cool stuff which I can't tell you about), is not on the Internet full time so please DO NOT LINK TO DarkStar)

Peter lives and works in New Hampshire, in an underground cavern called Colossal cave!

Peter's mission--

Write books, lot's of books.
Teach college at FPC.
Work with computer users of Windows and Windows NT.
Work with Internet users. Have a good life.
Peter is a member of ClubWin.

Realize that Peter is a full time author of computer books! That keeps the poor boy busy.

Peter's hobbies and interests include:

Sailing his Hobie 16 catamaran
Driving off road in his Hummer
Bicycling on the road on his Trek 2200 composite road bike
